Welcome to Fight the Good Fight Club, the podcast about the relentless pursuit of a life and relationships filled with purpose, love, joy and peace. How do we do that when pain, loss, baggage and every day challenges get in the way? Each weekly episode, your host Marcel Pope shares a step in his journey towards living his best life. Then, co-host and life-partner Cynthia Cintron joins in for candid discussions on building lasting and more fulfilling relationships. If you are ready to get real and dig deep then you are ready for Fight the Good Fight Club!
Marcel has been on a journey to spiritual awareness for most of his adult life. Although he manages a successful business, the death of his brother and best friend, the murder of another brother, and unfulfilled marriages left him feeling hurt, angry and sad. He decided to dive deeper into the study of life's purpose and achieving ultimate peace. Marcel has read the Bible cover to cover and is on his second reading of Course in Miracles. Fight the Good Fight Club was born from a desire to give a voice to what he has learned and his continued journey towards a life filled with peace joy and love.
If you asked friends and colleagues to describe Cynthia, they would say that she is always happy, optimistic, smart, and successful. What most don't know is that she is a survivor of years of physical, mental, and sexual abuse, abandonment followed by the feelings of shame, sadness and anger that result from years of victimization. She has also been blessed with a fierce survival instinct and desire to thrive beyond survival. She has spent over 20 years actively working on healing and learning through therapy, inner child work, workshops, and self-study. She has traveled all over the world professionally and runs a successful business. When her life partner Marcel invited her to co-host Fight the Good Fight Club, she jumped at the opportunity to share, learn and grow. Together Marcel and Cynthia laugh, cry and explore what it means to FIGHT THE GOOD FIGHT!
